Evaluation of Own Performance in Action Learning Set According To Your Contribution to the Group Processes

In a simple way, action learning can be described as a process of learning that comprises of small group of people. This small group of people undertakes activities of solving real problems. In this activity of solving real problems at the same time they also pay emphasis on what they are learning and in which way their learning can affect other members that are part of the group (Michael, 2006, p. 4). Action learning process has many advantages. Action learning helps in developing competencies, it enhances the ability of an individual to learn from individual experiences, ability to learn from collective experience can be gained through action learning. The important thing that is to be taken into consideration is that reaping the intended benefits is not the only important concern however; other things should also be taken into consideration such as evaluation of performance while being associated with the action learning group.

By taking part in this action learning process I have moved ahead on the road the destination of which is to reach to the pinnacle of personal and professional development. If I have to evaluate my personal performance in this process then I can say that I see myself as one of the most competent candidates in the group. There are various grounds on the basis of which I can say that I am one of the most competitive individual. Who is competitive and who is not can be depicted on the basis of the position in the group. On the basis of the strong position that I have adopted in the group I can say that I have changed myself a lot. Action learning is all about brining change. As a result of the action learning the kind of change that is brought is of positive nature.

I have delivered in action learning what it needs. The most important commitment that it requires is of participating for a time period. I took part in all the meetings and grasp the essence of these meetings. This implies that I make every possible effort to learn from these meetings. It is this meeting that has developed in me skill of effective communication. The first and the foremost reason that makes me to declare that is I am committed to excel and learn. Just like others I also face problems and there are a number of factors that act as obstacles for me. To deal with problems I pay attention to the solutions and the ways in which I can improve and go ahead in this journey whereas there are other members who worrying about the problem. Moreover, their commitment level is also less they lose hope quickly.
