1- Hofstede Cultural Mode

Hofstede highlights five cultural values in his work of 1980 as shown in Table 1 (Appendix). Hofstede applied his four dimensions of cultural values on Egypt. According to Hofstede, Egypt scores 80, 26, 72 and 46 on uncertainty avoidance, individualism, power distance and masculinity respectively. The people of country have high level of uncertainty avoidance; they avoid risk. Power distance amongst them is high. The society of Egypt can be seen as a collective society. The society of Egypt separates males and females; roles of men and women differ.
