Introduction

Abortion is often defined as the end of a pregnancy, in which the fetus or embryo is expelled from the body before it is viable, or capable of independent life. In some cases of late-term abortion, however, the fetus may be viable at the time of abortion. Induced abortion or the deliberate termination of pregnancy (as opposed to spontaneous abortion, also known as miscarriage) has been practiced in every era of history and in every culture of the world. An abortion is termed as death and expulsion of the fetus from the uterus before five months of pregnancy. After this date until 28 weeks of pregnancy it is called immature and premature delivery is if over 28 weeks. When pregnancy that occurs due to certain issues or complexity we call this abortion as miscarriage and it comes under the umbrella of abortion that is spontaneous. Abortion that is called therapeutic is done due to illness faced by the female during pregnancy while induced abortion for any other reason is known as selective abortion.

Induced abortions have been occurring since ancient times. It has a long history and has been happening in several ways, including herbs, the use of sharp tools, physical trauma and other traditional methods. While modern medicine utilizes medications and surgical procedures to induce abortion. The legality, custom, culture and views on abortion vary from country to country.

Thesis Statement

The thesis statement for this paper is that Abortion is murder, and murder is universally accepted to be unethical and immoral. Paper will be discussing and analyzing the statement mentioned through ethical applications and it will provide evidences to support my position. Also the paper will discuss disadvantages of abortion.

Discussion and Analysis

Abortion raises two questions, first is moral status of fetus. Is it, as some have suggested, is nothing more valuable than any other piece of human tissue such as amygdala? Second issue concerns rights of women and political domination. Can the pregnant woman a, legal abortion, based on its right to control his body, even if the person in it? I think answer to both questions is no. As to whether a fetus is more valuable than any other pieces of material, such as tonsillitis, not only disagree, but I am surprised that such a comparison can be made. A fetus is not the single piece of human tissue such as amygdale is part of a human being and as such continues to be mood in amygdala after this that she can express body when it becomes an irritant.
