Abstract

Title:

A Qualitative Study regarding sexual health and health care needs of adolescent children.

Background:

Globally problems related to sexual health and health care need of adolescents are the area of consideration in this research paper. There are problems in adolescence related to sexually transmitted infection, including HIV has gain attention now days. This study will focus on the problems that the girls are facing regarding maternity with STI disease and the health care needs they want from the nurse or maternity clinic. The research will focus on the pregeneat females and save the children from infected disease. However the role of parents and the opinion of nurse/midwifery regarding pregnancy at an early age was came under consideration.

Aim of the Study:

The aim of this study is to identify early pregnancy in adolescent girls with HIV infection and its impact on their sexual partner, parents and the role of concerned nurses or midwife in saving the child from this infected disease.

Method:

In Depth Interviews will be carried out for this study. These are semi structured interviews will be conducted. Discussion Guide will be made to conduct the interview. Discussion Guide consists of questions regarding the topic and these questions can be further elaborated or probed with the participant responses. The participant will be female and male adolescent children, opinion of parents and opinion of doctors. To identify the whole scenario of sexual health and health care need of adolescents. For each category that is adolescent children, parents and nurse. Midwife; separate discussion guide for each category.

Expected Outcome

This study will identify the views of adolescents regarding sexual health and health care needs. The support they need on this stage. Physical problems they are facing. Psychological condition of adolescent children. Their parent's views regarding the situation they are facing with their child and its effect on their home environment. It also caters the opinion of nurses/midwifery regarding the sexual health and health care needs of adolescent patients. Number of patients they are dealing with, and the experiences of patients came to them for treatment. The coping strategy of adolescents on sexual health and healthcare needs. Qualitative report will be presented in the form of three sections that are of adolescent children, parent, nurses or midwife views respectively, and in the end overall analysis of sexual health and health care needs of adolescents will be analyzed through this study.
