Question 1

Being a Director of the hospital, I need to interact with hospital's staff for resolving their issues, because these are the people who are the back support of our organization's achievements. In order to understand their queries and issues, it is important to motivate them; therefore I am drafting a motivational plan, particularly for Susan. Human needs are a significant part of nature, as it includes values, customs, and beliefs that belong from country to another country, but in general, all people have few basic requirements. As a director, I need to understand the requirements of Susan that can boast her confidence back. Different theorists have put forward their hypotheses regarding human motivation at workplace. The plan would be consisted on certain phases that will help Susan to get over her grievances due to workload and finally redress it up.

On the initial phase, Physiological Motivation is important to project, as ample provision of breaks for recuperation or lunch, and devise a salary package that will allow Susan to buy essentials of life.

On the second phase, Safety Needs will be also considered as one of the greatest motivation factor that provides great comfort zone to the organization's employee. Susan will not reach to the maximum efficiency or effectiveness, if she feels the constant requirement of her self- safety. Under the work environment, physical threats can be facilitated by security guards, cameras, and responsive management personnel. But in the case of Susan, she potentially needs reactive management personnel that shall resolve her issues.

On the third phase, Social needs would be regarded, as it is essential to generate the feelings of acceptance because Susan is upset from the situation that no one is giving her proper attention or hearing her work related problems. These are the ...
