Introduction

Marvelous satirical pamphlet by Jonathan Swift "A Modest Proposal, propose the concept to prevent the children of poverty in Ireland. Discussion

In general, "A Modest Proposal" is an excellent satirical book that is relevant for its time, and for the present. The project-mongering was designed to create the appearance of hard work on the good that does not bring substantial results (art-bin.com). The author said that according to him, the proposal to eat babies is the best to save the global financial crisis, at least rational than spending billions of industry subsidized by the state, which are trying to extinguish the fire of financial instability. Swift's pamphlet is completely written in archaic language and can be read with ease and interest.
