ABSTRACT
Keeping in view of today's modern, novel, cut-throat competition and competitors that have come up with original, unique and impactful methods, maintaining a strong, tenacious and effective ideology towards crushing your competitor is most important in the light of maintaining your current organizational practices and looking for avenues that would effectively and efficiently cater to your organizational objective, goals and strategies and simultaneously improve the chances of survival in the market. This paper analyzes the whereabouts of cash and carry operations in a holistic context. The main purpose and objective of this paper is to understand and comprehend the importance and significance of Human Resource Management (HRM) and how do their disciplines impact the operations and dealings within the organization, leading to an effective and efficient machine.

Background of the Research
Cash and carry operations constitute for a major portion of UK's overall wholesaling industry, creating and crafting strengthened and long-term relationships between small retailers and suppliers in the grocery market. According to the Institute of Grocery Distribution (IGD), the delivered trade is wholesalers, offering a variety of services that are directly delivered to the customer's premises.
As displayed above, the cash and carry operations comprise three broad categories that work as the major running heads in the market. These include multiple depot operators, buying groups and independents. Buying groups represent the most important fast-paced growing head in the overall cash and carry operative market in the United Kingdom, with almost 2/3rd (66%) of the operations that have been undertaken in the sector of cash and carry.
