The worth of college education in the free market has a vague concept. The labor market of 21st century is very volatile. The college degree payback has lost its worth in this era of crisis. The six figure digit may not be guarantee to a higher real wage in the future.
The skepticism in public has been fueled by a shortage of jobs prospects in the market. The research has stated that 57% of people stated that higher education does not provide a good value for education and 72% said that it is too expensive for an ordinary middle class person.
Further to this, it is also stated that education provided by the universities and colleges is not at the acceptable level. The growth of universities and education around USA has been more than 100% in last 20 years. The aim of the majority of these universities is making profits and not providing education. The essence of quality education is still missing from the core objectives of colleges in USA.
The research has stated that in last 5 years, the growth of establishment of colleges have been about 23%, and the colleges moving up to university level is 74%. This growth rate has provided the ease of getting higher education to the people who are not able to get expensive education but also have ruined the quality of education.
The main aim of this research is to analyze the educational criteria and the level of attitudes presented by colleges that have led to the decrease in the production of quality students. Further, research will also analyze the statement that college education does not fully prepare students for today's workforce. The main theme of this research is based on the narration, confirmation, refutation and concession of the statement in a comprehensive manner.

The stated growth rate of universities and the inflation rate with respect to shortage of jobs have a direct relationship. The main aim for any college or institute is to provide the theoretical education to the students for the current productive work environment. The development of inner attitude and confidence is due to the persons own will and motives.
Although colleges help the students to develop confidence, attitude and motivation to grow, and mould themselves according to the field of their related job, but they are unable to provide them with adequate mitigation, and maturity techniques to survive within the work environment.
In relation to the cognition of the person and development process provided by the college life, it can be stated that the main aim of college life is to polish the personality and inner confidence of the student. The enhancement of that confidence, attitude and motivation is the duty of the student himself. Most of the time, the developmental background of the students does not let him have the achievement of his objectives.
