Introduction

The dilemma is a situation in which the choices of one of the two opposing solutions are equally difficult. The ethical dilemma is a situation of moral choice, when the realization of a moral value is destroyed the other, no less important. If we consider the ethical dilemmas within the profession, then currently it is believed that this problem can be removed by creating professional codes of ethics. In general, this kind of ethics often provides beneficial effect on the resolution of ethical problems arising in the process of professional activities, so in a situation of ethical choice, it is the employee's guide on how to behave in any given situation. However, the situation is not excluded, when the tenets set forth in professional ethics, contradict some universal principles of ethics which are common to all people, regardless of professional affiliation, and where the situation for the individual can seem unsolvable. Also, the situation may be complicated by an internal moral conflict of personality, because each person has a set of moral criteria that are valuable to him, but may be contrary to generally accepted standards as well as standards of professional ethics. We face ethical dilemmas every day, but as a rule, we solve them and certainly not all of them grow in a situation of conflict or remain internal conflict of the individual. The ethical dilemma we will be discussing in this paper deals with information technology and information protection.

Ethical Dilemma and Conflict

As a general rule, when the situation grows to conflict, then it is very difficult to distinguish its ethical component. This is the most difficult task in an ethical practice. In assessing the conflict from an ethical point of view, first of all, it is necessary to identify all the parties, participants and analyze the situation in the time throughout. By defining the stages of the conflict, it is necessary to identify those targets that guided by the conflict. Often, parties to the conflict do not always themselves aware of their true purpose, without realizing what they were guided by a given situation. Apparently, the prospective employee i.e. Ethics Commissioner should have sufficient experience with the psychological people in order to isolate the underlying motives of the individual. In addition, it appears that the assessment of the situation of the parties or participants of the conflict may also be element of an ethical choice for representing the complexity of the estimator.
