Wolf Histrory

Introduction

Wolves are considered as dogs ancestors. Wolves have a certain family structure that is called pack. There are not a certain number of wolves in a pack, but it can be as few as two or as big as 14. Wolves society structure is quite complex, and there are a difficult family system. This family system plays an integral role for their survival.

There are leaders in each pack, and these leaders are called Alpha pair. The pair consists of one female and one male. There is no difference between them, and both are equal. These pairs are bonded for life. There is a Beta pair in these packs who are second in command. Apart from Alpha and beta pair, there are regular members. The last rank in the pack is called Omega. Packs have many similarities with human family system. Wolves hunt together, and it is the main strategy for food acquisition (Fischer pp.10-13).

Once wolves could be found anywhere in this world, and there is not any particular place. After 1970, wolves inhabitant in some places like Canada, Alaska, Minnesota, and China. They eat different food, they even can eat fruits, bison, and many other things. Wolves have one of the horrific history.

The War Against The Wolf

War against wolf is one of the horrible wars in the history. In this war, people slaughtered millions of wolves. People killed wolves in most horrible way that someone can imagine. There are a variety of reasons behind wolves' murder. The first reasons that can be given for the wolves murder was that the early modern humans reject nature, and they wanted to isolate form it.

Different cities were developed, and they forgot about the nature. Once early modern human realize this fact that they are the master of their domain, they started slaughtering the nature in a systematic way. These modern humans forgot this fact that they are also a part of this nature. They forgot this fact that wolves are an integral part of the ecosystem, and with out them ecosystem can not survive(Fischer pp.15-18).

Another reason that can be given for wolves' slaughter is that, in various region wolves are considered as monsters. Wolves are considered as monsters who like to eat children In different fairy tales, and many people still believe in.

The other reason is livestock issues. In order to save the live stock issues, ranches decided not to remain with the wolves. The main reason was the killing of the wolves by their hired guns and US government. This killing is still prevailing but in a different manner.
