How would you respond? Would you just capitulate and end some or all of these programs? Explain your answer.
As the programs that I designed and implemented were successful and were yielding positive results, I will not capitulate and some or all of the programs. I would make a detailed report about all the programs that have been designed and provide an authentic report about how much benefit they are providing to the criminals. I will highlight the benefits of these effective programs and will demonstrate through numbers the decrease in the recidivism rate of the state. Rates of recidivism reflect the degree to which released inmates have been rehabilitated and the role correctional programs play in reintegrating prisoners into society. Determining the recidivism rate will demonstrate the effectiveness of these programs. The rehabilitation programs have primary importance in prevention of crime. (Zamble et.al, 2001).

The intervention that is generated at this level for the post-prison reintegration can have a positive impact on reducing recidivism and improve community safety. Furthermore, a survey, along with the crime report, from the police officials will also be attached. The entire document will be sent to the governor to study so that he can have solid proof about the success and effectiveness of these programs.
