Introduction

The appreciation of the natural beauty by the Western countries is contemporary concept that arose in the twentieth century from the movement of ecology. Until then, people used to despise and fear that the wild areas are surrounded by the aliens. Various researches have been carried out in this regard showing the beauty of nature and different aspects related to it. In the paper, various articles have been discussed that outlines the beauty of the nature and reflects on the past misconceptions about the wilderness of the areas being left out for long time.

Discussion

The importance of the intrinsic beauty has been highlighted and given importance much for past few years. It shows that the wilderness is a term meaning places that have been uninhabited and has left to the nature without having any vegetation. However in the past, the meaning of the word “Wilderness” was largely associated with that of the labyrinth or maze that is surrounded by the hedges and trees. This concept was mainly accepted in England but with the passage of time, it has been vanished and the wilderness is still associated with the left out place.

It is interesting to contemplate an entangled bank, clothed with many plants of many kinds, with birds singing on the bushes, with various insects flitting about, and with worms crawling through the damp earth, and to reflect that these elaborately constructed forms, so different from each other, and dependent on each other in so complex a manner, have all been produced by laws acting around us. Thus, from the war of nature, from famine and death, the most exalted object which we are capable of conceiving, namely, the production of the higher animals, directly follows. There is grandeur in this view of life.

It has been observed that the humans are much more ingenious for the individual good. The nature and approach of the mankind is to beat the nature into the submission. The individuals would have accommodated their selves appreciatively on the Earth rather than dictatorially and skeptically irrespective of their deeds they do on the earth. Moreover it has been noted that it is their individual actions that affect the planet Earth. The individuals cut the trees and put them into museum to show other individuals and provide information related to it. ...
