An annotated bibliography provides with a list of citations to documents, articles, and books. Each of the citation is followed by a short, about 100-200 words usually, descriptive and evaluative paragraph, the actual annotation (Bisignani, n.d.).

Literature review seeks to comment on the content of knowledge including research findings as well as theoretical and methodological contributions on the topic.
