Access to water is the main problem for those cities especially who are in their developing stage. Overall this article relates to the water system, about how it established in some areas of United States where there is no concept of water system. How they implement the new water system like in New York & California from a time where they have to collect water from some 2000 square miles of mountains & lakes. How they make the best water system infrastructure which now having the world largest storage with more than 19 reservoirs and now how this system is providing basic necessity of water to more than 9 million people per day.

Second part of this article relates to the advantages of having central parks, how they affect the environment, why they are necessary for the people, how they shift from rural to urban area.

Lastly it focuses more on the developments of parkways and roads, what technologies they used in transformation of areas to urban area. How the New York City converted its environment to colonial legacies, how it is influenced by the political and radical factors.
