Introduction

Over the years, a lot of conversations relating to the diversion in the society are seen. Yet people are of the belief that architecture is way far from diversity. The fundamental role played diversity in the architectural design and format is to craft the expression of the diverse society encompassing of architecture because architecture is about people and if people do not exist, neither would architecture. In every corner of the world, the rapidly shifting demographics along with an unprecedented number of people existing longer, down with varying social norms, necessitate rethinking as to who the user actually is. While speaking in public one should make it a point so as to consider with reference to all members of the community, not just healthy adults. There should be concerned showed with the elders as well as children along with disable people of all ages. It is therefore; essential that architects should be totally responsive of all users of the communal realm to design responsibly taking into account both pragmatic issues as well as aesthetics.

My research focuses on design diversity for those who have long been marginalized in architectural investigation, especially the elderly, women, children, and people with disabilities. In this respect, my research will also examine spaces and people's gender, age, and disabilities in view of Universal Design, which has evolved as a reaction against discrimination of human beings and lack of equality in the process of architectural practice (Norman, 2004).
