Treatment with Homeless and Vagabonds

Abstract

The research study will find the reasons behind treatment of different people with the homeless people coming in a country. The homeless people have several reasons to move from their home countries to other countries of the world. The homeless people are also called vagabonds. The people who come from different parts of the world are treated by people on the basis of different grounds these include social, moral, ethical and on the basis of financial grounds. The study will take into consideration several past and present researches on the treatment of people with homeless citizens. It will also use qualitative and quantitative methods to collect data about the perception and behavior of people with homeless citizens.

Treatment with Homeless and Vagabonds

Introduction

It has been years that people are moving from one part of the world to another. Some of them get all the facilities of life and some of them become homeless or displaced. According to Burrows, (1997) homeless people are those who are unable to get any sort of support either financially or socially. The homeless people are also termed as vagabonds that are people who get displaced in the search of a job, home, facilities of life and to enjoy other basic necessities of life. The homeless people are unable to get the facilities of life like home, education; employment opportunities and proper medical facilities like do not get medical insurance, cannot afford medication and are unable to get treatment from the best doctors in the country. On the basis of ethical and moral principles the treatment of people towards homeless people is a social misconduct. It is important for all the citizens of a country to understand that every person who is either settled or is homeless should be treated like a human. According to Stoner, (1995) it is important to remember that every individual has equal rights to live a prosperous life and enjoy all the services provided by the governments. It is also important to note that homeless people leave their homeland because of certain reasons and not for enjoyment in other country as everyone loves their homeland and do not want to leave it until any problem does not occurs. The study will try to find out the reasons of change in behavior and treatment with the displaced people by the citizens of a society. The study will use qualitative and quantitative methods to draw conclusions about the study.

Discussion

Homeless people have some common characteristics which are: 1) they need a safe and secure place to live their life and 2) are the need of money or a job that could earn him a living. 3) Some people need specialized support services or they also need long-term medical assistance.
