Pathology of Chlamydia

It is a sexually transmitted infection, which is cause by bacteria known as the Chlaymadia trachomatis. Although, it is sometimes referred to as an infection which caused by coming in contact with any species of Chlamydiac bacterial family. This bacteria are only found in the human beings. Mostly women get infected by this disease it is a substantial cause of genital disease in human beings. Ctrachomatis is an element that resides inside the human cell. It is predominantly transmitted while a person is conducting anal, oral or vaginal sexual activities. It is passed from one infected person to another infected person, and the infected women if gets pregnant then this disease is transferred to her baby at the time of the birth through the women's vagina. It is very hard to detect the symptoms of this disease at the early stages. This is the main reason why this disease is so dangerous and a cause of death of thousand every year worldwide. It is a very common cause of blindness among human beings, all around the world. According to a report it is estimated that almost fifteen percent of cases of blindness were caused duo to Chlamydia. Although there has been seen a major decrease in this number since 2002.

Etiology of Chlamydia

Chlamydia is a gram negative and non-motile pathogen caused through bacteria it is a life cyclic disease that has two phases. It is impossible to synthesize the adenosine trip in Chlamydia. An organism from an exogenous source becomes the cause of Chlamydia. This organism gets attached to the elementary part of the body, which after some time gets attached to the cell of the host. The adolescents infected with epithelia of endocervical columnar cells in their oral contraceptive pill and ectocervix, should be very careful because they are the ones who usually get infected. These infections could be resolved in a spontaneous manner or a person could suffer with a small amount of chronic infection through out her life time with minimal inflammation.
