Introduction

Every action in the organization is a manifestation of power, which is used by both managers and performers. Power manifests itself through the channels of power, which include the power of coercion, influence, expertise, information, official conduct, credibility, authority to award. When an individual affects the behavior of group members without the use of coercive forms of power, it is a manifestation of transformative leadership. The organization attaches great importance to the leadership of the need to select and nominate individuals for leadership positions, most suitable for management functions. The nature of transformative leadership manifests itself as personal qualities of humans and the environment in which the activities of the company.

The Concept of Transformative Leadership

Transformative leadership is a process of influence on individuals or groups of individuals to achieve their goals. Transformative leadership is a critical factor in the management of organizational management. This form of leadership is a historically established social need of people in the organization of joint activities.

The transformative leader is a person who may have a real impact on the behavior of employees. The formal leader is not always the leader. The most important functions of a transformative leader include the identification of goals and means to achieve them, coordinating team members, scheduling them to work together to promote and sentence information, controlling, representational function, etc. The process of influencing people to positions occupied in the organization is called a formal leadership positions. However, its impact on people's official leader cannot rely solely on the position held and the related powers. The process of influence based on authority, trust, respect, ability, or other resources necessary for people called informal leadership. The ideal form of leadership for the management is the combination of the two foundations of leadership which ultimately reflect the transformative leadership. (Avolio, 1999)

Transformative leadership style is a combination of specific techniques and methods used for the leader to influence subordinates in the management process. Style includes the degree of delegation of the head office of his subordinates, the type of power, methods of work with the environment, ways of influence on the personnel and demeanor. Despite the fact that transformative leadership has been given much attention and all recognized the importance of this topic, it largely remains a “black box' or an inexplicable notion. It is known that transformative leadership exists and has a great influence on human behavior, but its internal mechanisms and specific parameters have not received the exact expression. Moreover, there are several specific theoretical propositions regarding transformative leadership. The first is the fact that transformative leaders do not get, but were born. (Avolio & Bass, 1987) This asserts that some individuals are born with certain traits that enable them to become leaders, regardless of the situation and the historical period which shows the idea of “great personality theory”.
