Toxicology is a science that identifies studies and describes the dose, the nature, incidence, severity, reversibility, and generally, the mechanisms of toxic effects produced by xenobiotics. Toxicology is also studying the harmful effects of chemical, biological and physical agents in biological systems and also establishes the amount of damage depending on the exposure of living organisms to previous agents, looking in turn identify, preventing and treating diseases resulting from these effects.
