Introduction

Communication skills can be one of the greatest possessions of an individual. In a simple way, it can be said that to communicate means is to transfer the message ad idea. Communication skills can be defined as the qualities and set of traits that an individual possesses that allows him or her to transfer the message in an effective and efficient way. Communication skills include listening and writing skills and ability show gestures.

In this case, as the patient is not willing to accept his conditions then here, the general practitioner (GP) should rely on the NMC code. According to NMC code of practices:

Above code of NMC implies that the GP should make an attempt to convince the patient. In case, if the patient still avoids the fact then GP can contact other family members and friends of the patient and ask them to convince the patient.

On the basis of this code it is the obligation of GP to ask the patient to go to the heart specialist. The above conclusion that is made in which there is a suggestion that is put forwarded to consult the family and friends is to safe the patient from the harm.

After reading the additional information there should be more stress and urge to contact the family members. This is because this history of the patient can be used as a source to show patient himself and his family that this history strongly indicates that there are more chances that the patient is a heart patient. One of the factors that should be there in the clinical communication is that all the messages to be conveyed in the light of facts and figures (Mazur, 2010, 68). This history of patient can be used by GP as a fact that he can present to the patient and his family.
