The construction of Global Theatre took place in 1598-99. In 1598, the theatre got damaged and got rebuilt on the southern side of the Thames, known as the Globe Theatre. Julius Caesar's first performance had a recording in September 1599. There were several Shakespeare's plays that got produced, and, performed at the Globe. The theatre got burnt down in 1613. It got recreated in 1614, but got damaged, by Oliver Cromwell's Puritan troops after thirty years.
