Introduction

Possibly one of the most significant and distinguished events in the history of the world, the second world war (famously known as the World War Two or WW2) initiated somewhere around 1939 and continued till the year 1945. All of the great nations of the world went to war with each other, forming two sides. One side was called the Allies and the other was called the Axis. More than a hundred million people served the war in military units formed by each nation.
