Introduction

The study is related to a statement that is “The state really does matter” which is raised by Peter Dicken in book. The state is made up of laws, rules, institutions and the government, such as the deputies, the National Assembly, as the Judges, the Supreme Court, the Army and Police which is called the State. Historically, the state is defined as something that oppresses some to benefit others and the laws, institutions anywhere in the world are naive that is the laws are not made by the goodwill of its deputies; however, the laws are made with a purpose and meet certain interests.

In United States, the legal structure that pile of laws, we have in Nicaragua, many of which have been developed with the aim that the rich oppress the poor, to have better conditions and to get more out to enrich followed to prevent to rebel and also to stop one day achieve social justice. These laws have not yet been changed as among other things, working majority is needed in the National Assembly. The point is to the address the State and the executive branch that is the Government which leads the state in general, so it is important to win elections and take the Government because it changes the direction of policies. For that reason, the state really does matter; moreover, this statement is also discussed in context of capitalism which is also a crucial part to study as it guides towards the better understanding of the importance of the state. Besides it, this paper also focuses on the importance of the state in relation to the international management.

In context of the statement that is “The state really does matter”, identifying that the countries continue to vary as containers of distinctive practices and structures which is imperative and essential in giving emphasis that we do not live in a homogenized world. To see the importance of the state must first see what the state is and see a character in society whether socialist or capitalist (Dicken, 2011). A state is a political concept that refers to a form of social organization sovereign of a given territory. The concept of state differs according to the authors, but is usually defined as the set of institutions that have authority and power to establish rules governing a society, having internal and external sovereignty over a defined territory. Besides it, the most important role of state is the protection of its citizens who make up society against coercion, and ensure the security and heritage whether from outside or is originated by fellow citizens. This is the main reason to exist and to carry that state there should be military and police forces and the government must provide them and their primary obligation is to have a monopoly on the legitimate use of force, the government must provide that the free market works well in this ...
