The initial reason of the experiment was to observe the effect that being in a jail like institutional setting has upon persons, and how they react to being placed in positions both with and without authority. As it evolved although, the trial quickly spiraled out of control, the “guards” misuse of the “prisoners” became excessive causing them far more trauma than the trial justified. Whether the trial went awfully incorrect or awfully right is solely a issue of attitude, whereas the “horrible” appears attractive clear cut.
