The settlement of New France

Introduction

As France was promptly able to found a new colony known as New France all along the St. Lawrence River, which is a colony chiefly fueled by the dealing of furs and farming with the Aboriginals. The settlement of the region was not always calm. It moved toward with costly conflicts and wars, 1st with Aboriginals, afterward the British (Murrin, 2005).
