Introduction

In Nathaniel Hawthorne's innovative, The Scarlet note, the emblems play very important factors that are utilised all through the story. Hawthorne uses three scaffold scenes that are at the beginning, middle, and the end of the story. He also utilises the notion of environment such as the brook, increased, and plantation but the most important symbol that is shown throughout the innovative is the scarlet note A.
