ABSTRACT
Purpose
The aim of this dissertation is to probe the role that business ethics plays in employees' motivation and the levels of their productivity with specific focus on Krispy Kreme Inc., a retailing company in the United Kingdom (www.krispykreme.co.uk)
Research Design
A questionnaire survey was administered to analyze the relationship between business ethics and employees' motivation and productivity among the employees of Krispy Kreme Inc.
Findings
The findings of the dissertation should demonstrate that business ethics plays a significant role in our contemporary business environment. Also, the findings of the dissertation show that there is relationship between business ethics and employees' motivation and productivity.
Limitations
The major limitation of this study is that, it comprises on the participants from only one organization, which may be lead to specific conclusion, which may not applicable in general.
Conclusions and Recommendations
The review of the literature and analysis of findings revealed that businesses and industries with ethical leaders are inclined to work diligently to ensure success for the companies they serve. Businesses and industries should employ a systematic approach that enables a company to address and manage compliance risks in a holistic way to ensure that an ethical climate is maintained.
