Introduction

The U.S. interests in the Middle East are seriously challenge by the Islamic republic of Iran. The Washington makes many charges on Iran such as supporting terrorists Al-Qaeda group, abusing of human rights with the people of Iran, Iran is also involve in the making of nuclear weapons which is threatening some of the middle east countries who are supporting or who are the partners of united states and the for the united states.

Although, the U.S. and its coalition partners are putting their best efforts in order to discourage Iran in making of the nuclear weapons. But, winning china's cooperation gives Iran a support in handling the issues which are raise by its enemies. Today, china supports Iran reluctantly against the sanctions imposed by the united nation and this due to the deep and broad friendship developed among the countries over the past three decades.

The collaborative relation between Tehran and Beijing is based on the high energy demand by the china and abundant resources of Iran. Beside this, both the countries have same views for the United States and both are taking initiatives against the United States through cooperating in training their military and coming up with latest technology in arms and ammunition. Iran has heavily rely on china through economically, diplomatically and militarily as, there was no country in the world who supports Iranian government against the pressure which is imposed by the west, it was china who supports Iran.

Discussion

According to the Beijing's point of view, Iran can play an important role in making strategies with the china to put pressure against the United States. As, china also consider United States as its enemy because U.S. also condemn against china in anti dumping of their consumer products to the third world countries. Secondly, Iran possesses vast resources of oil reserves and natural gas which would benefit china's growth and development. As Iran is also a big market for consumer goods, china considers Iran as potential market for the Chinese products and through this it can increase its market share in the consumer goods (Calabrese, 2006) .

Although, United States is the biggest market or client for china but still china is worried about the U.S. intentions as china thinks that U.S. wants to dominate the whole world or it is creating hurdles in the growth of china. Therefore, a diplomatic, military and strong economic partnership with the Iran helps china in offsetting the powers of the United States from the Middle East.

China's support to Iran in their nuclear program weakens U.S. and its coalition partner's efforts. This supports strengthen Iran and helped china in making strong friendship and take gains from it. On the other hand, china also reluctantly Iran too tightly, it also did not want to leave U.S as U.S. is the main customer of china and secondly, china also did not want to spoil his image on the international forum.
