The subject of "SAYING GRACE" was clear-cut and sentimental, depicting an move frontwards of adoration concluded unashamedly in a public place. This likeness seemed on the Thanksgiving, 1951 "Post" cover. It "touched America's heart" and was afterwards picked by readers as their all-time favorite.
