Discussion

It is believed that plot of A Doll's House is based on an event in life of Ibsen. In 1870 Laura Kieler was sent to Ibsen, the sequel to button, called daughter of Brand, and Ibsen became interested in pretty girl, vivacious, nicknamed her “joke." He invited her to his house, and for two months in summer of 1872, he visited her house constantly.

Once married, the couple of years later, her husband fell ill and was advised to take the vacation in the warm and Laura, and Nora in play she secretly borrowed money to finance trip (which took place in 1876) Laura forged the note, bank refused to pay, and told his wife whole story. Asking for the divorce, children removed from their care, and only brought him back after spending the month in the public asylum.

Laura and Nora have names that sound similar, but the story is different. The work of Ibsen, Nora never returned home, not once the news to her husband. Also, here the difference is most obvious, is that divorces his wife Nora. The final act of the play Torvald reveals so generous and friendly, though.
