Introduction

Freedom, according to Webster dictionary, is “The absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action; and a political right.” It is the cornerstone of the modern-day democracy phenomenon. The term freedom can be explained as a human resource, used in a collective structure, utilized or abused by behaving in a peculiar manner. The joint structure was tribes in ancient times, then groups, and now societies. The term 'freedom', or its limits, can only be understood by studying and analyzing it in holistic and collaborative context. There are distinct types of freedoms, such as freedom of speech, religion etc… Although, there is consensus that freedom is necessary for the well-being of society and individuals, viewpoints differ in defining the term freedom and its limits. As we advance through the 21st century, the realities of 21st century globalization must be incorporated in the way we measure our freedom, and its limits.

Freedom is one of the foundation stone of democracy in the modern-day world. It is also a human resource, used in a collaborative structure, which is utilized or abused by behaving in a peculiar manner. The term 'freedom', or its limits, can only be understood by studying and analyzing it in holistic and collaborative context.

Freedom can be explained as human resource, which is utilized or abused by behaving in a peculiar manner, in a collaborative context. The collaborative context was tribe initially, then it was groups, and now it is society. When studying freedom and its limit, as a topic, it has to be studied in a joint context. Freedom depends on the openness to the moral values as a guide that determines the course of actions that an individual takes. It is also considered being dependent on motives, reflecting relative choices and their limitations, capabilities of the human body, and the limited cohesion and working of nature, body and individual's subconscious.

The limits of freedom must, in one way or the other, be measured between people. The three dimensions, conventional measurement systems, used to analyze and measure freedom include the following. These measurements, more often than not, considered universal, when they are relative and often specific.

Economic - the concept behind this dimension is the fact that individuals can have freedom that they can afford.

Legislative - The judicial and political systems that enforce laws.

Ethical/Moral and distinct culture codes

No human will start from the unrestrained freedom. Man cannot decide and achieve everything he wants. There are limits to find itself and recognizes the need to submit them. He must accept those limits by filling satisfaction and undertaken to become a part of his control. Besides this, man is the cause of freedom himself, there is no being but the work. The ability to take responsibility for actions is a sign of valued and matured freedom. Responsibility is a consequence of freedom, but it prevents the natural expansion.
