Sigmund Freud was undoubtedly one of the most influential in the development of thought during the twentieth century. His theory that our minds, memories and emotions stored in our subconscious changed the way humans studying the human mind. (Winer & Anderson, 2001)

Freud said that, throughout history, there have been three total humiliations. Galileo's discover that we are not the center of the universe, Darwin's discovery that we are not the crown of creation, and his own discovery that we do not control our own mind. (Farago, 2003)
