ABSTRACT

In this study we try to explore the concept of “Language” in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on “importance of language” and its relation with “communication”. The research also analyzes many aspects of “language” and tries to gauge its effect on “people and communication”. Finally the research describes various factors which are responsible for “communication and language” and tries to describe the overall effect of “language and its importance”.

CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION

Background of the study

In general terms, speaking of language always found one set of signs of the same nature, whose primary function is to allow communication between agencies. In this way, hear about the language of bees, the language of music, the language of flowers, the language of colors and even the language of love.

In short, it seems that the essential criteria for a set of signs are a language - in the broadest sense and ordinary - is reduced to two: first, that these signs are of the same nature, and second, that primarily to communication to serve organisms with group of each other.

Problem Statement

Everybody uses words with special meanings. The more exact we are, the more likely we are to use such words. A word, properly used, can be as useful as several sentences, or even a picture.

Language is a means of communication, unique to humans. All we use it and the success or failure that we have, in different aspects of our lives, depend largely on how we use it. In our mind, ideas can be nested rich, different, unique, but of no use, if we are unable to transmit. We're not always aware of this.

Learning language is learning to communicate effectively is to know how to convey to others our thoughts, is to understand our fellow man. Most adults believe that the more convoluted expressions are used, the more difficult words, longer texts, the better their language.

Rationale

The good language is not measured by the quantity but by the effectiveness. Our duty as users of a language is to respect it: to speak and write with correction. And to achieve this, we must work. Nothing is learned without dedication and, in the case of language, every ...
