The Iliad

The story of Homer's Iliad begins in the middle of the Trojan War, only at the end of the Bronze Age in Greece. (To learn more about the beginning of the war, click here.) We do not know if it ever really was a Trojan War, but even if it had, it is a story about it, no real memory of it.
