Introduction

The pharmacy of compounding has been practiced in the history till the mid of twentieth century. Earlier to the beginning of the pre-made drugs, a pharmacist was not valued much if they were not familiar with the process of compounding of drugs. The doctors wrote the prescription of a drug that required to be compounded from scratch. Pharmacist required understanding the way to compound the chemicals and how to extract them to the numerous forms of dosage such as, tablets, capsules and suspensions.
