ABSTRACT

The great migration was one of the most crucial events in the history of America. During the Great Migration, somewhere around six million black people had moved out of the Southern part of America to North Side of the country. The great migration has a great significance for the black people in America, as this ignited the end of the slavery in America. A number of writers have covered the great migration in a number of ways; Jacob Lawrence was one of the most famous painters amongst them. We had applied the secondary research method analyze different literature regarding the great migration.
