ABSTRACT
The future of women's health care is constantly changing. Women continue to demand quality health care services that cater to their busy lifestyles. Today's women are taking on more roles than ever, such as; mother, worker and caregiver. They often neglect their personal healthcare needs because of a multitude of barriers, including; inconvenience, time, money, embarrassment, and lack of knowledge. Many health care facilities and agencies are working to reduce these barriers by using technology. The internet has become a valuable tool in helping women assess important health care resources. However, there is still much to be done in order to ensure every woman receives adequate health care. The future of women's healthcare will include a more holistic approach as well as integrating a multitude of services into one visit. Providers focus on maximizing vitality and preventing illness rather than simply curing a disease, as in the realm of conventional medicine. By concentrating on mental and physical wellbeing simultaneously, the patient may need fewer office visits. Also, much frustration could be eliminated by simply educating women more thoroughly in the area of health care and insurance. By empowering women with the knowledge of health care, the overall amount of money spent on healthcare services may greatly diminish. Education is the start to a healthy foundation for life. Once a patient visits a gynecologist, the journey begins toward educating the patient throughout every stage of their lives. With that being said, the main focus of this paper will be to incorporate all women's health care needs into a well-informed, educational, and convenient approach that will continue for generations to come.
