In the past decades, technological revolution took place around the globe. This technological revolution is also called the “Information Age”. People have adopted this technological change in many countries. However, there are still some countries which are not able to adopt the technology, and they are way behind Modern World. The information age is all about satellite, broadband, and fiber optics. Although, this revolution is part of the development of communication of telegraph and telephone in the nineteenth century. The technological revolution shows its drastic growth but, it creates inequality between the countries and regions. It become important to research and collects the facts that clearly describe the Digital Divide and gives the solution for bridging the gap. My focus on this research is to give the actual meaning of Digital Divide and define the efforts of bridging the gap between countries and nation.

The Digital Divide
Introduction
The world is now referred as Digital World, from global village it has become a global house. This created a Digital Divide. Some parts of the world have become so closer through technology that other parts are not connected to them. It goes almost without saying that the digital divide is one of most talked about phenomena when the topic of the relationships between information technology and society is raised.
The term Digital divide refers to inequalities in access to information technology. It describes that most of the population in the world is not facilitated with the information technology; that creates discrepancy between nations and countries around the world. Access to information technology has a tremendous impact on people's ability to acquire knowledge (Bolt, D., and R. Crawford. 2000, pp.250). Digital divide is as important as gender, income, education and socio-economic class. As soon as the technology scattered around the globe, digital divide attracts attention of developing countries.
The communication and education is transferring to a complete technological change and the nations not following trends are set back, and tends to the Digital divide. It is viewed as urban and rural areas; mostly urban areas are facilitated by technology then rural area (Compaine, B (Ed.). 2001, pp.322). Digital divide has no boundaries it could be between countries, between nations, even between same neighborhoods.
