We have all been educated about the Texas Revolution:That it was a fight for independence against a oppressive government. And we all know its most famous battles:The Alamo and San Jacinto. But what if Texians gave their lives not for liberty or an idea, but for slavery?. There are many facts to support this. For one, most of the Texians were slaveowners, such as William Travis and Jim Bowie. And the fact that in the 1830s, slavery was the "Hot topic" of America. Not to mention that Mexico outlawed slavery. So i leave my question open to ...
