Introduction

The terrorism has caused serious damage to the planet earth since its beginnings. The recent terrorist attacks and incidents in year 2012 have similar story which frighten the world as never before. The terrorist attacks such as one in Iraq which cause death of more than 36 people and many others injured in 20 bomb blasts in cities and towns (Raheem, 2012) and second is in Quetta, Pakistan connected with Afghanistan which cause death of more than 14 people and many others injured in local areas have seriously threatened the world from terrorist attacks (Reuters, 2012). The war on Iraq and Afghanistan have already agitated several terrorist groups in those regions which take arms in their hands in name of Jihad and other several convictions and which do not fear in killing and maiming others (Then & Loosemore, 2006). There are also evidences of many terrorist attacks based on sectarian strife in many parts of the world and especially in Asian countries. Since, their objective is to create fear into the population at large around the globe, there is need to understand the counter terrorism actions or prudent security measures which reduces the chances of happenings such catastrophes of human lives in future.

Who

The terrorist attack occurred in April 19th 2012 in more several cities and town around the Iraq and causes more than 20 bombs and killings of more than 36 people and 100 injuries around the nation.

What

Several sources from newspapers and analysis on incidence by several critics showed that major objective behind terrorist attack is based on sectarian strife which raised fears in throughout country to maintain the stringent security measures. There are still no evidences of any groups claiming responsibility of these attacks (Raheem, 2012).

When/Where

The bomb blasts have caused several damages in more than 20 cities including the capital of Iraq Baghdad, where three car bombs, one suicide car bombs and two roadside bombs have been exploded in zones of Shiite Sect. The bombings have caused deadly death of more than 15 people and causing life-threatening and physical injuries to more than 61 civilians. Further, Northern oil city of Kirkuk have also been unfortunately seen devastating losses of more than 8 people and injuries of 26 people in terrorist attacks of more of two car bombs and three roadside bombs. The target of terrorists was to explore the main patrols of police and army in the regions which cause serious damage in the surroundings of Kirkuk city. The other cities which get vulnerable from terrorisms targets were Tajj and Baquba cities, which caused death of more than three civilians and security forces (Raheem, 2012).
