The characterising attribute of Hominids is their proficiency to stroll bipedally, utilising two feet and strolling upright. This pattern of action lead to numerous adaptations inside the Hominids skeleton. There are prominent alterations in the spinal cord, pelvis skeletal part and legs. The chimpanzee does have the proficiency to stroll upright and does, but it expends most of the time strolling on four limbs. It values it's arms as it's front legs and strolls on it's knuckles.
