Impact of Technological Development on Human Environment
Introduction
Technology tends to be defined as the evolution process which tends to incorporate numerous techniques and methods to serve the human beings. Humans, however, have also benefitted from technology to bring comfort in their life. Technology went through different phases, from the ancient Romans to the surfacing of Islam. The technology has gone through many thick and thins; however, the evolution process did not stop. Technology clearly had an impact on the lives of humans in order to control many factors around them. Humans started to use technology from the time human history dates back. Wheel tends to be regarded as the greatest invention by the humans (Arnold, 1991).
The people used it to reduce the barriers by decreasing the time to go from one place to the other. Whereas the latest inventions such as Internet, Mobile Phones has further helped the human cause to bring moa comfort in life. With the inventions of these devices, the world has now taken the shape of a global village where everything seems to be on the touching distance of a click. However, the humans have not efficiently used it to bring comfort to their life rather used for the purpose of destruction. The invention of bullets to the atomic bomb, the technology rather stands to be misused by humans. However, it is necessary to view the phases the technology has gone through in order to gain a deeper understanding of the subject.
