Introduction

It is a Report of RDBS which reflects data processing and transaction processing in Good Health Plc. This reports deal with the advantages of using database approach along with some important issues related to database system. There are many other data base models which are going to be discussed in the report in order to facilitate the organization of Good Health Plc. Relational data model, Object oriented databases, object relational databases, and concept of a distributed data system along with some important issues which come across in the implementation of the distributed database system.

Advantages of the Database approach to storing data

The core idea of modern information technology is based on the concept of databases. According to this concept, the basis of information technology is the data that must be organized in a database in order to adequately display varying the real world and meet the information needs of users. One of the most important concepts in database theory is the concept of information. Under the information means any information about an event, a process object (Gilula, 1994).

The information can include everything that may interest users of any level. Database approach to storing data is very much useful and supportive to process the information presented in a form that permits it to automate the collection, storage and further processing of the person or the information agent. •The upgrade Recovery must ensure data integrity, security and confidentiality of data (Kim, 1995).
