Introduction

The statistics of temperature, humidity, air pressures, and rainfall makes up a climate of a region. The climate of the world is changing widely, imposing several challenges for the world. The causes of such changes can be internally related to Earth, externally related to variations in sunlight or wind pressures, or by the human activities on the surface of Earth.

Scientists, today, are conscious on the fact that the possible danger of climate changes in the universe can affect drought, increase in the numbers and existence of diseases, increase in the extremism of weather, and rising sea levels. Deforestation, melting of glaciers, heavy rainfall, massive earthquakes, and volcano eruptions are few of the major climate challenges the World is facing today (Paavola, 2006, pp. 594).

The responsibility for tackling the issue of climate change relies upon all the states and all the organizations at a similar proportion. The understanding of these responsibilities is essential for all the entities involved, in order to give a qualify lifestyle to the people of the universe.

Discussion

The climatic changes can have a direct impact on all individuals residing in a specific region. The changes occur from the humanly activities on the surface of the Earth that tend to destroy the atmospheric framework. In order to discuss the climatic changes, it is vital to understand the causes, impacts, and to know the responsible entities for tackling the impacts of climate change (Raghavan, C. 2001, pp. 1-3).

Causes

The major cause that creates changes in the overall climate of a region is the use of bio fuels and other gases that omit greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. These gases omit from the combustion of fossil fuels in cars, factories, and in various industries. Carbon dioxide is the main gas involved in causing the major climatic change, the Global Warming. Other human activities involve deforestation and reducing the levels of agriculture in certain regions of the world.

Impacts

The climate change fosters danger to infrastructure, health, economy, and overall lifestyle of the individuals.

Impact on Infrastructure

Climate change is not only entitled to the change in temperatures, but the changes in the entire ecosystem that results in natural disasters such as earthquakes, thunderstorms, tornados, tsunami, and heavy or light rain. The infrastructure is highly vulnerable to the climatic changes as buildings and other intercity infrastructure can collapse due to the effects of climate change.

Impact on Health

Climate change is considered as the most important global health threat in the contemporary era. It may put the lives of all the people, residing on the surface of Earth, in danger.
