Overview of the Study

Effective volunteering, often called the glue, that holds our civil society together, is often determined by good recruitment and retention practices Understanding satisfaction is relevant to virtually all aspects of the volunteer experience, especially recruiting and retaining volunteers. Data collection was performed by different methods from several sources to allow a broader understanding and more deep objects studied. The research aims to measure the sustaining engagement and commitment within student volunteering. It also aims to find the reasons for volunteer engagement attrition and solutions which are possible to it. The overarching research question for this study was: What factors have influenced student volunteers to joining, staying and leaving organizations? How can organizations that take on student volunteers consistently keep them engaged and committed throughout their tenure?

Research Study

This research is founded on the secondary data. The research encompasses the publications, articles and similar studies accessible on the Internet. Keeping in view the approach taken in earlier studies the research began with a broad analysis of the existing literature. The findings & conclusions are based on the secondary data. The methodology used for the purpose of this research is based on the secondary data. This research is more or less based on the literature review & the conclusions are drawn on the basis of actual resources listed in the references. The research approach used is qualitative.
