One of the few things children would look forward to during their summer vacation is attending a summer camp. There are many themes and ideas for summer camps that children would look forward to. A summer camp is a place where children from different family backgrounds meet together. This is the place where children learn the process of give and take, and at the same time have fun. Camping is one of the most popular forms of outdoor recreation and can range from "roughing it in the wilderness" with only a tent and limited cooking utensils to utilizing more modern accommodations like campers and mobile homes. Other outdoor activities, including hunting and fishing, are often connected with camping trips. Since many of the summer camp activities are team games, children understand the basics of teamwork.
