Suicide Laws

Introduction

The term “suicide” has been derived from the Latin word “suicidium” which is the act of a human being intentionally causing his or her own death. Suicide is the deliberate act by someone to end his life. The paper discusses different laws and regulations in the context of suicide as well as assisted suicide, commonly termed as euthanasia.

Discussion

In many countries if a suicide can be prevented by another person is considered to prevent this act of suicide is something that can and should be left as the other person to commit suicide could be considered as a case of no assistance to person in danger, which is a crime in various legislations, such as a suicide attempt may be a temporary state of insanity, a very serious state of depression or other similar situations that may present a particular person.
