Introduction

The teddy bear (or plush) is a bear of toy stuffing. It is a traditional way of representing a toy animal, often used for the purpose of comforting children. In recent years, some teddy bears have become expensive collector's items. The first Teddy Bear Museum was set up in Peter's field, Hampshire, England, in 1984, founded by Judy Sparrow. It closed in 2006 and is currently a particular direction.
