Abstract
Automotive repair industry consists of enterprises engaged in servicing and repairing cars. Vehicles include, but are not limited to, cars, trucks, vans, recreational vehicles, limousines and hearses. In this research paper a conception of using Lean Manufacturing methodology in disassembly and reassembly processes (Remanufacturing) is presented. The scenarios of material and information flows in Remanufacturing processes were developed in order to cover most of possible real situations.

Chapter 1: Introduction
Background of the Project
Automobile restoration is the method of repairing the degraded aspect of a vehicle to come back it to an general "authentic" condition. To renovate a vehicle without updating or upgrading it by holding in line with how it would have emerged when first offered for sale. Non factory paint codes and even paint strategies, inside and chrome trim of the time term may be accustomed whether they were normally shared between indistinguishable models of the era so as to appearance the part. Many refurbished vehicles may lose their original motors and have a alike capability or form associated engine installed. (Acharya 1999)
The automotive fix industry is created of three primary segments: automotive fix stores; new car dealerships; and diesel motor fix shops. These three segments produce significant solvent wastes, aqueous wastes, and sludges which require disposal as hazardous waste. Deteriorating economic conditions as a result of falling consumer confidence, which quickly influence car sales due to costly status and relatively low cost of extending the life of existing vehicles through the maintenance and repair. (Acharya 1999)
Acomplete auto restoration could incorporate gross removal of the body, engine, driveline fractions and related branches from the car, gross disassembly, dusting and restoring of each of the principal branches and its fractions, replacing smashed, wrecked or worn branches and finalise re-assembly and testin g. As part of the restoration, each part should be thoroughly examined, cleaned and fixed, or if repair of the individual part would be too exorbitant, restored (assuming correct, value parts are accessible) as essential to return the entire automobile to "as first traded" condition. (Acharya 1999)
Problem Statement
Restoration is occasionally confused with the term "restomod." A restomod places some portions of the vehicle as they were when the vehicle was first suggested for sale, and changes(updates) others. If any part of the vehicle is updated, the vehicle has been "restomodded," ...
