In this paper I am going to develop a marketing plan for the Pot Noodle new product. the new product that is going to be launch in the market is Pot Noodle Chocolate Covered Popcorn. The mission of the new Pot Noodle Chocolate Covered Popcorn is to add more variety to movie theater concession stands to gain more customers and eventually sell the product to food markets to make a large profit from customers who like and buy the product.
Target Market
Our target market is people of all ages because people of all ages love chocolate. Whether it is a man or woman, child or adult, chocolate is a unique flavor that usually has everyone's mouth watering. Women totaled 56% as their favorite flavor andmen totaled 42%. Young children, 10-11 years old also love chocolate. Americans consumed over 3 billion pounds of chocolate which amounted to $15 billion in sales. Aninteresting fact about chocolate is that 22% of all chocolate consumption takes place between the hours of 8 pm and midnight; prime movie theater hours. It is also important to note that about 65% of movie theater tickets are sold in the evening (Calantone 2004). Because movie theaters make a large portion of their money on concession offers, this added variety of chocolate covered popcorn will attract more people to purchase snacks. Also, chocolate covered popcorn will increase profits in the non peak months because more chocolate is consumed in the winter season than any other season.

It is a fact that consumption of chocolate canminimize certain heart conditions and add years to one's life cycle. The flavanols in cocoa, the key ingredient in making chocolate, can help keep a healthy vascular system. These flavanols can also reduce blood clotting and oxidative damage, and help blood flow by the increase of antioxidants. Also, chocolate raises the level of serotonin in the brain which results in a greater sense of well-being.
